NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 read with section 27 of the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board Act, 1966 (Karnataka Act No. 16 of 1966), the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board with approval of the State Government hereby makes the following draft amendments to the Karnataka Secondary Education and Examination Board First Regulations, 1966, for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after the expiry of 15 days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the Board from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above, will be considered by the Board. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Chairman, Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, 3rd floor, 6th cross, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru-560003.
DRAFT RULES
1. Title and commencement. These regulations may be called the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board First Regulations (Amendment) 2025.
2. Amendment of Annexure III. In the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board First Regulations, 1966, in Annexure III,-
(i) For rule 16 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted,namely:-
"16. Candidates shall secure an average of 33% marks in internal as external examination combined and shall be declared pass if they secure at lea out of a total of 625 marks, including at least 30% marks in each subject out of the of the respective subject.";
