DRAFT RULES
1. Title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfers of Senior Panchayath Development Officers, Panchayath Development Officers, Gram Panchayath Secretaries and Rural Development Assistant (Grade I and II) and Second Division Accounts Assistants) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette
2. Amendment of Rule 4.- In the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfers of Senior Panchayath Development Officers, Panchayath Development Officers, Gram Panchayath Secretaries and Rural Development Assistant (Grade I and II) and Second Division Accounts Assistants) Rules, 2024, in rule 4, after the proviso and entries relating thereunder the following shall be inserted, namely:-
"Provided further that, from the date of commencement of the the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfers of Senior Panchayath Development Officers, Panchayath Development Officers, Gram Panchayath Secretaries and Rural Development Assistant (Grade 1 and II) and Second Division Accounts Assistants) Rules, 2024, all the Panchayat Development Officers with service of five years in the Grama Panchayats shall be compulsorily transferred as one time measure."
