Empowering Future Leaders through Education Vidya Poshak's flagship Nurture Merit Program continues to transform lives by providing financial assistance, library accesa, and skill development to economically disadvantaged yet meritorious students. Since its inception, the program has supported 18,000 students in their pursuit of higher education.

Total Students Supported: 1,625

Total Financial Assistance Disbursed: 247 Lakhs

Academic Excellence of Vidya Poshak Scholars (2024-25)

98% of students passed their 12th-grade examinations.

10 students achieved a perfect score of 100/100.

Average score of VP Scholars: 84.22%

Percentage of students scoring high marks:

▪️90% and above: 35.51%

▪️80% and above: 37.85%

▪️70% and above: 12.14%

Graduation Milestones:

181 students successfully completed degree in 2024-25

116 Professional students completed degree and 90% of them are placed in cau recruitment.

Skill Development & Outreach Initiatives

Conducted workshops across all operational districts, benefiting 821 students Pre-University (PUC) and degree courses.

Organized get-together programs for final-year students in Dharwad, Bela Uttara Kannada, and Vijayapura, facilitating networking and career guidance fo students.

Eligibility Criteria:

The student should have appeared for the PUC II examination for the first time in 2025

Must be aspiring to join a Medical or Engineering course

This application is only for students from Karnataka

Should have scored 80% and above in the PUC II examination.

For Engineering aspirants: Should have secured a CET rank below 25,000

For Medical aspirants: Should have secured a NEET Karnataka rank below 3,000 and All India rank below 60,000

The total family income should be less than ₹15,000/- per month

Parents must be residents of Karnataka
